Here at CR MacDonald, we take our industry accreditations very seriously, which is why it gives us great pride to announce the latest addition to our accreditation collection in the form of our Federation of Master Builders certification. As the largest trade association in the building sector, they recognise quality within the industry, which is why we are so pleased to be able to inform our customers that we have now met all of the stringent guidelines and requirements needed to gain this accreditation.
Set up in 1941, the FMB was, and still is, designed to protect the interests of small and medium businesses working in the construction industry through lobbying the relevant organisations at both local and national level on the matters that mean the most.
In order to achieve our Federation of Master Builders accreditation, we had to meet a number of criteria they put in place before we can be classed as members. Criteria we had to tick off included a check on the work we were undertaking on a current project and the agreement to have an inspection on a completed project every three years thereafter, in addition to agreeing to abide by the procedures they put in place across numerous areas of our business and signing up to the FMB code of practice.
The full list of criteria we had to meet can be found on the official FMB website, and goes to show that a significant amount of work had to be put in on our part to gain this prestigious accreditation. On achieving our membership, we now have access to a number of different information based services that can help us continue to provide the best possible level of service to our customers on every project we embark on.
If you require further information on our newly obtained Federation of Master Builders accreditation, any of our other accreditations or wish to enquire about a project you would like us to work on, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our friendly and knowledgeable team at the earliest opportunity.
