What Our Collection Of Accreditations Mean To You

Following on from our previous post on why it is important to use accredited tarmac contractors, we at C R MacDonald thought it would be useful to go into a little more detail on a few of the accreditations and qualifications we hold along with what they mean to you. Read on to find out more and also why our team really are the only experts to call upon for all your tarmac and resurfacing needs, whether domestically, commercially or in an industrial setting;

CITB ConstructionSkills

With the aim of delivering a safe and fully qualified UK workforce within the construction industry, we are immensely proud to be associated with the CITB ConstructionSkills scheme. Within this scheme, we work closely with them to continually develop skill levels so you can be assured that our workforce is always trained to the very highest level. Furthermore, within the scheme we are constantly looking at ways to lower our carbon output in addition to ways of reducing costs to ensure we stay financially stable and continue to recruit the best, most suitably skilled individuals within our business.

SWQR- Street Works Qualification Register

The SWQR is a detailed collection of operatives who have gained the relevant qualification in relation to the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, of which we at C R MacDonald are one. With road resurfacing one of the key areas of our business, being on this register therefore reinstates the fact that we have undertaken the training and been awarded with the qualification that should give you the confidence to rely on us for your next road or street resurfacing project.

CSCS- Construction Skills Certification Scheme

Health and safety is vitally important to us here at C R MacDonald, and the Construction Skills Certification Scheme was set up in the 1990s to improve workers’ competence so as to avoid accidents and injuries during construction projects. By being members of this scheme, we have already demonstrated that we meet the required level of competence and as a result have been awarded with a card that proves our achievements and can be shown whenever necessary.

With these three accreditations plus many more, you can be confident that we are always doing our utmost to remain at the forefront of our field whilst working in line with industry guidelines and ultimately providing the highest level of service to our valued customers at all times.
